TREASURER – TEMPORARY – LOWER FREDERICK TOWNSHIP (MONTGOMERY COUNTY)

Lower Frederick Township is seeking a Temporary Treasurer to assist with Township financial operations during a transitional period. Duties include general fund accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, financial reporting, and support of Township budgeting and audit functions. Limited sewer billing oversight is included.

Candidates should have experience in municipal finance, accounting, or bookkeeping; knowledge of Pennsylvania local government preferred. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software required. Must be able to work independently and pass a background check.

Position is temporary, with flexible full-time or part-time hours. While the position is temporary for this transition period, the Township would be open for something more permanent with the right candidate.  Compensation commensurate with experience.
